My First Open House :))

Great News!!!!!

I am having my first Open Houses on Saturday, August 16th from 10am to noon and Wednesday August 20th from 7pm and 9pm. I am so very excited. It will be so much fun. There will be a Stampin' Up craft demonstration, a prize drawing, a make and take your own card workshop, food, refreshments and a lot of fun. I can't wait to show my guests what I've got and show them what they can do to with products from Stampin' Up.

So far I have four confirmations to attend so there is still space for those who are still interested; however, you hurry because space is limited (I have a small house you know :p) so you can contact me by email: royalarkworks@sympatico.ca for more information. I know it has been a long time coming, but finally here they are. At least, this is just a little taste of what I can do. All these are hand made by yours truly. Hey there! I hope everyone is doing really well. I have been so very busy these past couple of weeks and then on Monday I slipped while picking up my son at daycare and sprained my ankle. I just wanted to let you all know that my blog is a work in progress and will hopefully be ready by the end of this week. I want to add in "Stampin' Up" info, classes I'll be teaching and show off some of my work available for purchase. So, please be patient and check in regularly this week.

Long Day Yesterday

I wanted to update yesterday, but I was too busy. I had to take my mother shopping and made a few bracelets for my coming out party. On Saturday, the 14th of June I will be bringing RoyalArkreations to the masses in Lennoxville QC. It will be Friendship Day there with parades, shows, contests, food, and craft shows. I will have my own table and will be selling my paper creations, handmade jewelry, knitting works that my mother made and a few faux stained glasses paintings I did myself.

I am so excited, but there is so much to do still. I still have to make flyers, labels, business cards, and information about classes that I'll be offering. It's getting down to the wire, but I am not worried. My husband has been a major help designing my logo and making my flyers for me. I don't know what I would do without him. He is also an artist and will have a show at the same time as my craft sale so he is working on two things at once. I am so fortunate to have someone like that in my life.

Anyways, that's enough for now. I'll update you on my progress and show you pictures of my Friendship Day show. Ta Ta for now ;)

WELCOME

Hello everyone and welcome to my new blogsite. I am so excited as this starts a new chapter in my life. I am going the path less travelled and following my dream of being an artist. I have given up all the security I once knew to start on this new venture becoming an independent distributor and demonstrator for Stampin' Up Inc. Along with selling Stampin' Up products I will also be showcasing and selling my own works. I plan to show my creations on this blog. I will also be open to comments, both positive and negative (just don't be too mean okay :))
